The Scientific and Technical Information Program (STIP) website has been redesigned to enhance the usability of the site. Along with improving the layout and streamlining access to STIP-related information, OSTI’s search and STI submission tools have been highlighted prominently throughout the site.
Interactive tools to assist users in identifying the appropriate STI submission processes have been incorporated. After choosing a particular STI product type, users are provided information on metadata requirements and appropriate submission processes, based on their organization type. New sections of the website also provide guidance to users on accessing STI via OSTI’s discovery tools. Throughout the site, information has been updated and revised, and the FAQ section has been expanded. The Search feature within the site augments the upgraded navigation options.
The Scientific and Technical Information Program is a collaboration from across the DOE complex working to ensure that the results of DOE-funded research and development (R&D) and other science and technology activities are identified, disseminated, and preserved. The DOE Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) coordinates STI activities and leads the collaborative effort.
