Submitting STI
The Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Link system (E-Link) and DOE CODE are the two primary submission resources used for electronically submitting scientific and technical information (STI) products that are created during DOE-funded research or other work.
E-Link
The DOE Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) has developed E-Link as a resource to electronically submit scientific and technical information (STI) products that are created during DOE-funded research or other work. E-Link is used by DOE-funded financial assistance recipients (i.e., grantees), DOE national laboratories and other major facilities, and by DOE offices at HQ and in the field.
Within E-Link, there are different metadata requirements for different STI product types. STI can be submitted via the user interface or by automated methods (API).
DOE CODE
DOE CODE is another online resource where DOE National Laboratories and DOE Program Offices can submit metadata and access points to DOE-funded code. DOE CODE provides functionality for collaboration, archiving, and discovery of scientific and business software.
It is recommended that before you start submitting your STI, you review the Submission Basics.
