The DOE Isotope Program (DOE IP) has the sole authority within DOE to produce isotopes for sale and distribution. DOE IP is not responsible for molybdenum-99 (NNSA), plutonium-238 (NE) and special nuclear material produced for defense program purposes (NNSA).
